Decentralised SHE LON bus system

Decentralised 24 VDC SHE system based on
LON bus technology for electromotive smoke
and heat extraction and daily ventilation.
Specially adapted for use as a decentralised
system to reduce the cross-sections
of the drive cables.

LON nodes linked by means of individual address
assignment and a 4-core bus cable.
Freely configurable network structure (topology)
with line monitoring and constant checks for faults.
Enhanced security through using a ring bus structure.
Flexible options for integration in existing building
services management systems (GLT) via standardised
data protocols or for use as an independent GLT
system for control and regulation tasks. Power supply
and control via LON motor nodes with built-in
switched-mode power supply units for stabilised
output voltages with ripple content
< 1% and for rated currents of 2 A
to 8 A for supplying the drives.

24 VDC drives controlled in one or more SHE
and ventilation groups according to the configuration
and LON binding (linking) in each case. Emergency
power supplied by maintenance-free 12 V emergency
batteries for 72 hours of operational readiness
in the event of a power failure. Maintenance-friendly
fault monitoring with error flashing code and forwarding
to SHE manual call points.

Connection options for SHE manual call points type
RBH/3A, automatic detectors type MSD 523 or
UTD 523, vent switches and rain sensors or
wind/rain sensors. Integration of LON bus SHE
call points type Kingspan STG in the LON bus
network with free assignment of the SHE and
additional integrated ventilation groups and with
optical signalling for operational readiness,
activation and faults with inscriptions in
accordance with VdS 2592.
Configuration options for integrated forwarding
of messages such as fault, SHE activation,
centralised fault, rain or wind/rain messages.
